Delete your data

You can permanently delete everything Nettie stores about you at any time.

In the app (fastest)

Open Nettie and tap the settings button on the home screen. Scroll to Your data, tap Delete my data, and confirm. Everything is erased straight away, and the app starts over as a new install.

By email

If you no longer have the app, email [email protected] with the subject "Delete my data". Include your Nettie ID, shown under Your data in the app's settings, or if you've lost access, the order number from your App Store or Google Play receipt. We'll confirm once it's done, within 30 days.

What gets deleted

• Your food diary, meal photos and chat history
• Height, weight, age, goals and onboarding answers
• Calories burned and weight readings synced from Apple Health or Health Connect
• Records of the AI requests made for your logs
• Any connected AI assistants (ChatGPT, Claude and others)

Data is removed from our live systems straight away, and copies in backups disappear as backups are overwritten.

What isn't deleted

• Your subscription. Apple and Google manage billing, so cancel it in your store account first (see Support). Deleting data doesn't cancel it.
• Purchase records that Apple, Google and RevenueCat must keep for tax and accounting. They don't include your food or health data.
• Data in Apple Health or Health Connect itself. Nettie only reads from them, so your watch data stays where it is.
